Nicholas H Wood - 8th-14th Aug
Nicholas H Wood is a young Artist from Bath who is at present training at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence where he is focusing on portraiture and sculpture. He is an exceptionally skilled artist who went to school at Monkton from where he went on to a Foundation course at Kingston, subsequently gaining a place at this prestigious school in Florence. His work is based on the traditional teaching of sight-size technique and he is in much demand for both his drawings and paintings. His main focus is portraiture but he is also exploring still life and the human body. At present he is also a part time tutor at The Cecil Studios.
Bath is fortunate to have an opportunity to be able to watch this emerging talent at work. He will be exhibiting at Milsom Place from 8-14 August alongside guest artists. He will demonstrate his skills throughout the exhibition, working on a portrait in situ. Commissions are invited during his time in Bath which can be arranged during this week.
