Lick the Spoon - 26th March-3rd April

Award Winning Wiltshire Chocolatier “Lick the Spoon” are setting up a one week only Easter Shop in partnership with Milsom Place to showcase and sell their fabulous chocolate Easter Eggs and Fresh Chocolates. The shop will open from Friday 26th March to Saturday 3rd April and is situated opposite Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in Milsom Place.

Company founder Diana Short is delighted at the location and the potential to create an eye catching window display. “Lick the Spoon is very much about exceptional taste, provenance of ingredients and artistry in chocolate” explained Diana. “To have a window display like this out of direct sunlight is a dream come true for a chocolatier, and we will be creating some large chocolate sculpture pieces to match the setting”.

Lick the Spoon make all of their chocolate creations in a small purpose built factory in Corsham using traditional artisan techniques. They have been building a following in Bath since last year’s Easter Chocolate Festival at Milsom Place where they completely sold out and followed this with great success at the Bath Christmas market.

As well as winning many awards both locally and nationally Lick the Spoon’s Easter Eggs have been chosen by celebrities Nigella Lawson and Alan Titchmarsh as their choice. Lick the Spoon have already been tipped off that following a trip to Liberty of London the London Evening Standard is to include Lick the Spoon in its critic’s choice for 2010.

Lick the Spoon pride themselves on the quality of the chocolate they use and the resulting taste. “One of the most exciting new eggs this year is the Soft Boiled Egg” Diana enthused. “Imagine a breakfast table scene, you break open the chocolate egg in a chocolate egg cup. Inside is a light fluffy marshmallow egg white and a soft orange flavoured ganache centre in which you can dip your chocolate toast or use your chocolate spoon”.

The Lick the Spoon shop at Milsom Place will be open from Friday 26th March to Saturday 3rd April and is situated opposite Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in Milsom Place.
