Whether you live in and around Bath and come to the area regularly, or you’re just visiting for the day, Milsom Place is right in the heart of things, providing a bustling and cosmopolitan public space which hosts a variety of local activities such as festivals, outdoor film screenings, jazz and fashion shows. Check back regularly to see what’s new.
Featuring new work by winners and exhibitors of last year's Bath Prize and examples of work by this year's judges, INSPIRED is a show for everyone who loves Bath. All of the work is accessible (no pickled sharks or unmade beds!) and sensibly priced with prints from £75.
This will be a one-off opportunity to view a major proportion of the amazing “Bath Marathon” project by the painter Adebanji Alade who is painting all of Bath in 500 oils! We will have 250 of them (and Banji) on display.
The internationally renowned sculptor Michael Talbot will also be showing his new bronze figure of Bath's very own goddess: MInerva and Irene Marsh, Bath’s Favourite Painter will be demonstrating her incredible technique and showing her latest water-colour of her favourite subject: Margaret’s Buildings.
The exhibition opens on Friday 29th April (there is something else going on that day as well!) at 11am and continues until Wednesday 11th May. Hours are: Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm Sunday 1pm to 5pm.
