Christmas Music on Thursdays from 26 November

Bath Gospel Choir : 26 November from 18.30 – 19.45

An all-access adult choir for anyone who would like to have a go at singing gospel music.  Consisting of people from the local community of all singing abilities, they sing a mixture of spirituals, traditional gospel songs, R&B, funky and pop gospel… and of course there’s all the swaying and clapping into the bargain!

Royal United Hospital Staff Choir : 3 December from 18.00 – 19.00

A 40-strong ensemble of hospital staff who sing together each week on Tuesday lunchtimes for fun and creativity. Directed by professional choral director, Jo Sercombe they sing anything and everything from Fields of Gold to Mama Mia to Eleanor Rigby and often raise money on behalf of the RUH Forever Friends Appeal.

City of Bath Bach Choir: 10 December from 17.00 – 19.00

Singers from the City of Bath Bach Choir and Junior Choir will perform carols and Christmas music. The choir is well known for performing beautiful and demanding choral works and songs from any era to an exceptionally high standard, and will be led by its Musical Director, Nigel Perrin, now in his 20th year of conducting the choir. The CBBC Junior Choir of children aged from eight years will be singing in the earlier part of the evening.

A Handful of Singers : 17 December from 17.30 – 18.30

This auditioned group of experienced singers share a love of music-making and enjoy performing an eclectic repertoire – accompanied and a cappella. Founded in 2002, the group has a growing reputation for high quality performances throughout Bath. Their conductor is Christopher Finch, who is based in the specialist music faculty of Wells Cathedral School.
