The exhibition interrogates the temporality of these modes that society places great value upon in the pursuit of culture.
On Borrowed time depicts the world as a stage with carefully designed backdrops, where individuals become actors, costumed and performing according to the unwritten scripts of humanity, The Octagon becomes a lost theatre sanctioned by codes of behaviour that are in constant flux; further disfigured by the human distortion of nature. Like everything bound by consumerism the foundations are loose and the actors are on show for a limited time only.
